Hey, we’re Tectonics Builders — a family owned and operated custom builder providing quality service in Central Virginia for over 40 years.
Originally established in the 1980s as Tectonics II, we have evolved into a third-generation owned construction company based in the Roseland, Virginia area.
The word “tectonics” in architecture means the science or art of assembling, shaping, or ornamenting materials in construction. Steven Crandall founded Crandall Carpentry in his home region of Northern Virginia

Tectonics II founded by father-son duo, Warren and Steven Crandall

Joined Lindal Cedar Homes as an Independent Dealer

Justin Crandall, son to Steven and Heidi Crandall, officially joined Tectonics II as Project Manager

Steven retired from the construction industry
